I am a
lifelong resident of New Jersey, currently living in South Brunswick. My major
focus, when I am not at work, is my two children. I graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science. As a student at Rutgers, I became interested in writing and had several short works of fiction published in a campus literary magazine. After graduation, in addition to my full time job, I worked part-time as a writer for a now-defunct weekly newspaper, The Spokesman, in New Brunswick, New Jersey. I authored a wide variety of articles ranging from arts reviews and interviews, to hard news and editorial pieces. It was from these experiences that I became interested in technical writing. In addition to working professionally as a technical writer, I continue to write for pleasure and am currently working on a novel which I hope to complete within the year. For pure relaxation, I am a voracious reader. I have been known to read as many as a half dozen books simultaneously. I enjoy watching movies of all sorts and am a rabid fan of Rutgers Scarlet Knight basketball and New York Yankee baseball!
